Vigeo Eiris is a member of Comité 21 since 2015. Created after the 1992 Rio conference, Comité 21 aims at implementing sustainable development in organizations, companies and territories. It has been a forerunner in engaging sustainable development issues amongst various stakeholders in France. This unique network counting more than 500 members bases its action on multi-actors partnerships, operational action and innovation with more than 130 businesses (multinational companies and SMEs), 185 local authorities (city councils, departments and regions), 185 NGOs (environmental, development, local solidarity, human rights…), 32 public institutes and higher education institutions.

Vigeo Eiris is a member of the European Sustainable Investment Forum. Eurosif Eurosif is the leading pan-European sustainable and responsible investment (SRI) membership organisation whose mission is to promote sustainability through European financial markets. Eurosif works as a partnership of Europe-based national Sustainable Investment Fora (SIFs) with the direct support of their network which spans over 400 Europe-based organisations drawn from the sustainable investment industry value chain. These organisations include institutional investors, asset managers, financial services, index providers and ESG research and analysis firms totalling over €8 trillion in total assets. Vigeo Eiris is also a member of the French and UK SIF.
Belgian independent association working to increase individual and institutional investors’ awareness of the ethical values it promotes. Forum Ethibel is a shareholder of Vigeo Eiris, and its members include well-known associations and NGOs such as Hefboom, Crédal, Réseau Financement Alternatif, Centre National de Coopération au Développement, etc. Based on Vigeo Eiris’ research, Forum Ethibel produces the Ethibel Ethical Investment Register.
The EIRIS Foundation is a UK-based leading charity operating in the field of responsible investment. The foundation is committed to helping organisations and individuals maximise their contribution to the responsible business and investment agenda. Its mission is to use research, analysis and influence to identify gaps, barriers, opportunities and enablers so that it can help organisations and individuals maximise their contribution to the responsible business and investment agenda. The EIRIS Foundation holds 19% of Vigeo’s share capital since 2015.
Launched in June 2011 as a joint project of Ceres and Tellus Institute, both non-profit research and educational entities, the Global Initiative for Sustainability Ratings (GISR) is a public benefit organization aimed at making financial markets agents of, rather than impediments to, achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and broader global sustainability agenda. As a multi-stakeholder initiative with the public interest at its core, GISR’s vision is to transform the definition of corporate value in the 21st century such that markets reward the preservation and enhancement of all forms of capital – human, intellectual, natural, social and financial. GRI – Global Reporting Initiative
Vigeo Eiris is a GRI Gold member since 2017. GRI is an international independent organisation that helps businesses, governments and other organizations understand and communicate the impact of business on critical sustainability issues such as climate change, human rights, corruption and many others. GRI provides sustainability reporting guidelines that enable organisations to consider their impacts of wide range of sustainability issues, enabling them to be more transparent about the risks and opportunities they face.
