Vigeo Eiris is recruiting an ESG ANALYST – SRI services division

Permanent contract / Full Time / ASAP / Bagnolet (Line 3 Gallieni)

The ESG Analyst in the SRI Services division contributes to clients’ portfolio analysis, to answers to bespoke requests, and to research activities serving Companies and SRI Clients. He/she is provided with a good knowledge of Vigeo Eiris Rating Framework, sectors and themes. The analyst produces ESG research in line with our quality standards and processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Portfolio analysis
    • Contributes to the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the clients’ portfolios
    • Contributes to writing specific sections of the final report
    • Contributes to prepare and assists to clients’ meetings
  • Clients’ bespoke request
    • Contributes to understand, analyse and answer to clients’ bespoke requests in respect of Vigeo Eiris methodology
  • Specific SRI division projects
    • Contributes to the different projects of the division following specific needs arising (for example Indices, ESG research on SMEs)
  • ESG Research and analysis
    • Analyses all relevant available information and documentation on the companies under his/her responsibility
    • Establishes relevant contacts with companies under his/her responsibility and their stakeholders to obtain additional information
    • Analyses, rates, compares the ESG performances of companies under his/her responsibility according to Vigeo Eiris processes and quality standards
    • Contributes to the quality reviews conducted within the pole
  • Sector and theme knowledge development and sharing
    • Develops knowledge on ESG challenges associated to sectors
    • Deepens knowledge on Vigeo Eiris Rating Framework and on ESG themes and shares it internally
    • Develops knowledge of Vigeo Eiris clients and specific products
    • Contributes to the production of research pieces derived from ESG Research: derivative products, research papers, etc.
    • Drafts answers to questions from internal or external stakeholders (companies or clients) on the research conducted under his/her responsibility

Skills required:

  • Knowledge of corporate social responsibility, SRI, themes encompassed within Vigeo Eiris rating framework.
  • Master Vigeo Eiris methodology (principles of actions, process) and the connected tools (Sinot and VE Connect, etc)
  • Demonstrated fluency in written and spoken French
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English (Vigeo Eiris working language)
  • Capable of ensuring high quality information collection and synthesis
  • Analytical skills (clarity, relevance, consistency, care)
  • Strong attention to details, rigorous
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Capacity to find a balance between productivity expectations and quality (time management)
  • Ability to work autonomously, under the supervision and support of a team
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with Excel
